Bill is the principle of Strasser & Associates, P.C.  He has been practicing law for over 50 years.  His practice is focused on business/commercial litigation, estate matter litigation and commercial loan and residential real estate matters.

Over the course of Bill’s legal career, he has litigated cases in the Appellate Courts of New Jersey and has appeared before the New Jersey Supreme Court on a number of cases.

Bill is recognized as an AV Peer Reviewed and Rated Attorney by Martindale Hubbell, the highest attorney rating based not only on legal ability and ethical standards as judged by their peers, but also based on reviews from their clients.   In addition, for the past 20 years, the Firm of Strasser & Associates has been named to the list of Preeminent Law Firms in the United States by Martindale Hubbell. 

Over his career, Bill had the privilege of being appointed to the New Jersey Commission on Legal and Ethical Problems in the Delivery of Healthcare. This appointment led to the drafting of the Living Will Statute in New Jersey, of which Bill was one of the original drafters.

Bill has taken an active role in his profession. Bill was elected a Trustee of the Bergen County Bar Association in 2012. He was elected Officer of the Association 2018 and held the Offices of Secretary-Treasurer, Senior VP, First VP and President Elect.  In 2023, Bill was elected the 125th President of the Bergen County Bar Association.  In 2012, he was appointed by the Supreme Court of the State New Jersey to serve on the District IIA Ethics Committee of Bergen County.  Bill served on the Committee through 2017, and was then appointed as Chairman for the term 2017 through 2019.  

Bill has been actively involved in many community endeavors.  He has acted as president of numerous boards in his municipality, has been inducted into the Hall of Fame of Northern Highlands High School and serves and dedicates his time as a trustee of his church. In addition, he has served on a number of bank boards and has previously served as Vice President of the Leukemia Society of New Jersey.
